Muscle Stimulator

Muscle stimulating electro, muscular electrostimulation or electrical neuromuscular stimulation or electrostimulation, is the generation of muscle contraction using electrical impulses. The impulses are generated in a device that is applied with electrodes in the skin close to the muscles that are intended to stimulate. Impulses mimic the potential for action from the central nervous system, causing muscle contraction. The electrodes are usually attached to the skin. EEM is a form of electrotherapy or muscle training. It is cited by several authors as a complementary technique for sports training.
