Man Mountain Boots

CLIMB HIGH WITH SOME GOOD MOUNTAIN BOOTS

Mountain shoes and mountain boots

The actual mountain boots only feel comfortable when the climb is very steep, the air becomes ever thinner and the initially earthy path looks more and more like a gravel road. Alpine mountain boots belong to your feet on the mountain like a sucker in your body when it rains, a climbing rope to climb and skis to ski. Without proper footwear, hiking and mountaineering in the mountains is only half as fun and can even be really dangerous.

THE APPROPRIATE MOUNTAIN BOOT ON THE GROUND

Mountaineering boots are mainly used on alpine terrain; the rule is: the higher you go, the firmer the mountaineering shoe. Especially when you go hiking up the mountain or on an alpine mountain or on a high altitude tour, you must bring a rugged mountain boot with a high shaft. On a pleasant hiking and trekking excursion, on the other hand, the light, not too resistant and high mountain and trekking shoes are perfectly suited. The following also applies: the heavier the backpack, the higher the cane of the mountain boot.

FEATURES OF A MOUNTAIN BOOT

For a mountain boot to meet the requirements imposed on it in alpine terrain, a quality mountain boot must have the following features: A abrasion-resistant and anti-slip Vibram sole with a sufficiently deep profile that provides the necessary grip on smooth terrains. rock and wet alpine meadows. A waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane (e.g., Gore-Tex) ensures dry feet inside and out. An axle extending over the ankle protects against uncontrolled torsions and a stony strip in connection with a firm, high quality exterior material protects the foot against impacts.

WHAT TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING A MOUNTAIN BOOT

Modern mountain boots are no longer bulky and heavy leather boots. The development of the footwear sector has made it possible for good mountain boots to have the necessary robustness despite their low weight and thus provide stability and secure footfall. However, the most important thing is the adjustment. A mountain boot may be well done and expensive, but if you don't have it left well, it doesn't fulfill its purpose either. Many outdoor manufacturers have reacted to this and now offer different horma widths and extra sizes. And once you've found the right mountaineering boot, nothing will get in the way of the mountaineering experience.
