TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

BUGrip® is the name of the technology of takes hold of Icebug. The BUGrip sole is done with special rubber components and has integrated of 15 to 16 tacos of steel (photo 1). The design of the tacos, along with the properties of the components of the rubber, provides a dynamic function to the tacos. The tacos work of independent way and they are not fixed. In this way, when a weight is applied on them, they are hidden in the sole. The appearance of the tacos depends on the pressure that the user exerts and on the resistance that the surface generates .

The dynamic function of the tacos, causes that they adapt to the surface providing the best possible traction. This causes that we call “Tacos Intelligent”:
• In slippery surfaces (Ej.: ice, snow, mud, wet wood and grass) the tacos stay and provide takes hold to the ground (photo 2).
• In hard and solid surfaces (Ej.: asphalt or cement) the tacos remains hidden in the sole (photo 3).
• In hard and irregular surfaces (Ej.: stones and rocks) some of the tacos are hidden, whereas others provide takes hold necessary. Doing that the contact with the surface a combination of the rubber and the tacos.

ATTENTION
The products with BUGrip® are not recommended for indoor use, being able to damage grounds and the risk of slipping can be increased in some surfaces. Icebug does not guarantee that the user never slips using products with BUGrip®.
